Ana Carolina - New South Wales

My name is Carol, I was born in Brazil and raised in Andorra ( small country between Spain and France). I have always lived around artisans. My grandmother sewed and painted, my mother and aunt embroidery and crochet.

I have always had the dream of being a fashion designer. Since I was little when I lived with my grandmother I used her sewing machine and made dresses for my dolls. In my teenage years we moved to Andorra. There I studied fashion pattern making. In 2019 I finished my studies and I moved to Australia and my purpose was to start my business. Anc was founded in 2021 in Sydney with some handmade crochet pieces and today we have a wide variety of pieces and sizes.

It should be noted that we are a sustainable brand and we work ethically. All our artisans are women who have crochet as their job and with it their financial freedom. The objective of our company is to make our clients know how to distinguish a handmade crochet piece and value our work. We believe that if you take care of your crochet pieces you can use them for years.
