I love fabric– the colour, texture, pulling different fabrics & auditioning them to see who wants to play together. After quilting for many years, I moved to bag making & fell in love with it. When I go into a bag store, I am confronted by 2 stark choices: high quality black & brown leather bags or lesser quality fabric bags. I bring together those 2 choices – unique eco-friendly vegan cork bags & accessories with high quality workmanship. Cork fabric is cruelty free & better for the planet. I can’t imagine a time when I’m not making bags so I want to turn this into something sustainable for my family & I.

I handcraft a range of unique vegan bags & accessories which can be used on that special occasion or for those fun & casual moments in life. The cork that my bags are made from is one of the things that make them special. Cork is harvested approximately every 9 years from the bark of the cork oak tree which lives for up to 200 years & grows in the Mediterranean. Cork is soft to the touch, light, durable & comes in beautiful colours. It’s easy to clean & like leather, will develop a beautiful patina with age. Cork is an environmentally friendly and cruelty free alternative to leather.
