Treefaring - Queensland

My name is Donna and I am the artist behind Treefaring, a small business selling my original artwork and ceramics that brings a little forest magic to your home, all handcrafted in my Noosa Hinterland studio.

When I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition last year, I turned to forest therapy to help me deal with the physical and emotional changes I was going through. It has been transformational. There's scientific proof that even just thinking about the forest can make you feel calm and give you a sense of awe - which leads to positive mental and physical benefits.

I decided to set up Treefaring not only to provide me with a source of income that can fit around my condition but also to share these positive benefits of forest therapy.

I hope my artwork prompts people to think about the forest, and they experience the peace and joy it can bring and are inspired to spend time amongst the trees.

I also plant a tree with One Tree Planted for every sale I make to ensure future generations can experience all the physical and mental health benefits forests provide us with.
