Zoe & Chloe and Co - Victoria

My name is May-Britt, I am 54. I founded Zoe & Chloe and Co in 2022 to create and sell my own jewellery. Before that, I had a cafe while living in Spain to follow my husband who at the time got a professional opportunity in soccer. We were about to sell the business, fly back to Australia, and thanks to the funds from the business's sale start my jewellery business.

Then Covid stroke. We lost our investment and survived on our savings until the government repatriated us, after being stranded for a while. We had just started rebuilding our lives again and had our heads above the water, when we suffered a terrible car accident, last December 2023. My husband who is a PE teacher cannot go back to work yet due to his injuries and is helped by the TAC for now.

More than ever I want to believe in myself and my ability to succeed in this adventure. My desire and goal is to become a successful online brand, allowing me to live from my business, enjoy creating, and travel to tradeshows abroad to source unique & beautiful jewellery.

I wish to build a network that allows me to contribute here and abroad by helping women and children in difficult situations. I spent my childhood in Ivory Coast and my best friend is working with non-profit organisations to help women in remote areas. I wish to work with her using my business each time possible.
