At Kiraana we hand blend spice blends & pantry staples like rice and lentils with unique Indian spice blends. These blends bring you one step closer to Indian kitchens. They are easy to cook, healthy and most importantly, delicious.

Kiraana was started by me, Supriya. I migrated to Australia from India after marrying my beloved husband. I worked in Melbourne for 8.5 years before recently moving to Lismore. I started this business in 2020 but had to close it in 2021 but since moving to Lismore I decided to revive it.

Kiraana was born with a need to introduce the culinary richness of India. “India is a vast country with its own unique culture and language of food, no matter which direction you go. So I aim to bring this knowledge of its vastness, diversity and ancient food wisdom to Australian kitchens!”

My goal with my business is to have my products in every kitchen in Australia where people can cook delicious Indian meals at home with ease, also I plan to release a few other range of products in future so hopefully, I can achieve that one day.

I sell hand blended spice blends and pantry mixes which one can easily cook at home. In spice blends I have chai spice and turmeric blend to make delicious beverages at home. And the pantry mixes are all precisely proportioned so you don't have to think about how much spices to add to your lentils etc, all you need to do is add water. The blends are inspired by either different dishes or flavour profile of different regions of India.
