Susan Wellingham - Queensland

I am a watercolour artist living on a property in the beautiful Somerset Valley region, Queensland. My husband and I moved here 4 years ago to live a more natural, sustainable way. We grow our own produce and harvest our honey in a chemical-free environment. I have always lived a creative life, however my passion for watercolour painting has flourished since moving to this rural setting.

An abundance of artistic inspiration surrounds me and the unpredictability of this medium (watercolour) allows me the ability to create some of the magic I experience daily. I have had a beautiful studio built and feel it is time to put my work 'out there'. My goals are to share my love of watercolour painting with a focus on the theme of rural Australian life especially the flora that abounds. I hope to sell my original art as well as prints on paper and fabric such as tea towels.
