I am an Egyptian artist and physiotherapist. I recently moved to Australia with my husband. Having worked as a physiotherapist and dealt with people's pain and disability, I noticed that my patients' negative experience of physical pains was exacerbated by their emotional state, especially depression and anxiety. These negative emotions can increase one's subjective reported pain level drastically, for example from a 3 to an 8 out of 10. This made me realise that Hope is the most precious gift you can give to someone in pain. This is the reason I started to pursue art. I desire to see people's homes and environments turn into a brighter, more Joyful atmosphere which would positively impact their emotional state, experiencing a change from the outside in. For that reason, my vision is to spread Vibrant Joy and colour in the lives of people around me and those who come across my art.
