Blooming Light Creations - Victoria

I'm Veronika, the soul behind Blooming Light Creations. I've always had a passion for creativity. My journey with making bath products started with a very itchy husband and a little boy. When my son was just a few months old and suffering from eczema, I formulated a botanical oatmeal bath soak using all-natural ingredients.

Fast forward a few years to when bath bombs were the only way to have a tantrum-free bathtime, and my range started to expand.

In 2022 I lost my nana, mum and older sister, all within 9 months of each other. I was completely heartbroken and experienced severe anxiety following the traumatic events. I ended up having to quit my corporate job of 10 years (where I was the head of a large property management team) in order to work on my mental health.

On top of this, my husband and I were in the midst of trying to conceive a second child, a journey that would take nearly 3 years and one that modern medicine had told us is simply "unexplained". With nowhere else to turn I looked to natural and metaphysical healing practices. It was through reiki, acupuncture and crystal healing that I gained strength, perspective and acceptance. This is when I started a crystal business with my sister-in-law and fell in love with making crystal-healing sun catchers.

Losing the 3 women who stood as pillars for my identity shook me to my core. It has been an extremely long journey of putting myself back together.

I have created Blooming Light Creations to honour them as well as the miracle daughter Chloe, who I welcomed into the world 1 month ago. Items that I currently sell are artisan shower steamers, crystal surprise bath bombs, Luxury bubble bath – bath salts, crystal healing sun catchers, smudge sticks with plans to expand into wax melts, herbal bath melts and other luxury self-care items.

I am hoping that my small business will allow me the freedom to raise my 2 children while working from home.
