The Ethical Beauty Expert - New South Wales

I started Ethical Beauty Expert originally as an online Zoom skin advisory service and beauty blog when Covid's first lockdown caused me to have to close my Holistic Beauty Salon– but found that I couldn’t find the perfect skincare for my client’s skins which would feed the skin, was clean, organic, affordable, ethical and vegan.

Most “organic” skincare products are 70% water, bottled in plastic, and contain chemical preservatives, toxic fragrances, or nasty binders because they are full of water – wasted space in your bottle or jar.

The Everything Skin Range contains no water, no binders, no preservatives – they are all 100% active ingredients only.

It all started when I started (during lockdown again) making an ointment for my sculptor/blacksmith husband’s hands which he started using on his face – his skin was looking better, stronger, and healthier than mine!

So, I reformulated the product to make it more active and lighter (although it is still buttery – not watery – no water taking up space in these products!) I found I was using it everywhere as it was healing, hydrating and protective – face, hands, feet, legs – burns, cuts – it worked on everything!

Of course, I had to develop an oil which could be used to cleanse, moisturise, remove eye makeup and deal with frizzy hair!

My daughters 28 and 34 tried the products and loved them!

So, off the cream and oil went to any friend who wanted to try them. The feedback was amazing – skin’s looked younger, started to glow, healed, eczema and psoriasis improved.

My goals are to grow this business so that it becomes my primary business. Due to the unusual nature of the skincare (compared to what clients expect the skincare to feel and look like) it is a difficult product to sell.

LIke all skincare - there are those who just love it - but for many it is hard to understand - we are used to smearing huge amounts of product on your skin - whilst the Everything Skin Range can be used sparingly - because every drop of product is active!

It is a one size fits all product - again - it goes against everything everyone has been told by the billion dollar beauty industry.

I am a strong believer that everything we apply to our skins must be as healthy as our food (I am also a nutritionist) so the ingredients must be organic, packaged in glass or aluminium for health and environmental reasons.

All ingrediens must be vegan, ethically sourced and cruelty free.
