Cyana Duong

Camie Fleur - New South Wales

Cyana's business specialises in exquisite artificial and dried preserved flower arrangements, offering decoration and personalised floral gift boxes that last forever. They provide floral arrangements for events and wedding hires, promoting sustainability by reusing flowers and reducing the carbon footprint.

Cyana aims to make an impact and create job opportunities for disabled individuals while pursuing her entrepreneurial journey. Born a twin, her mother's pregnancy was undetected until an operation, during which Cyana was delivered first. Unfortunately, her sister suffered from suffocation and did not develop as typically as Cyana did, requiring 24/7 care. Cyana's wish is to have disabled individuals who love arts and crafts join her in making flowers, and finding happiness in the process, just as she does every day.

Ginan Tabbouch

GTAB - New South Wales

Ginan, founder of the first healing Designer Parfum Haus, has created a non-toxic natural parfum that doesn’t disrupt the endocrine system, drawing on her heritage of using parfum for its healing properties. Utilising a frequency device to infuse distilled oils, she crafts wearable scents that offer both pleasing aromas and beneficial effects.

Ginan started her business to provide a healthy alternative to traditional perfumes, which often contain harmful alcohol and toxins. Witnessing substance abuse among artists seeking inspiration, she aimed to create a healing parfum that enhances mood and cognitive function without adverse health effects. Her goal is to brand and launch her unique healing parfum globally, ensuring everyone can experience its benefits.

Corina Muir

Amber Days - Victoria

Corina is a proud Yorta Yorta woman and founder of ethical children’s label, Amber Days. Her children’s clothing ranges are made from original fabrics and collection designs are in collaboration with Aboriginal artists. She produces her garments and is growing her team with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, refugee and migrant women, because she believes women are the leading forces behind healthy communities and society. Corina is the sole carer of her two year old daughter and deeply values the flexibility that being self-employed brings. Her daughter is integral to the business inception, mission and values. Corina is passionate about being environmentally responsible and using non toxic dyes, and this was triggered by her research into clothing manufacturing processes after her daughter was born.

Fiona Harrison

Chocolate On Purpose - New South Wales

Chocolate On Purpose is an Indigenous Australian-owned business combining fine Belgian chocolate with the very best Indigenous Australian botanicals sourced from Aboriginal Communities around Australia. Our mission is to share the health-giving power of Indigenous Australian botanicals, and the skill of our First Nations People in their traditional use, through the deliciousness of chocolate so we are respected for this wisdom and honoured for our culture.

"I aspire to become financially independent as a foundation for my retirement. I've chosen to do this through a business because it also provides me with a platform to become a change maker on the Australian business landscape, as fewer than 20% of business is Indigenous-led and it's been proven that successful Indigenous business is a means of inspiring community to reverse intergenerational financial marginalisation contributing to closing the gap. I wish to break the Indigenous stereotype and show that a unique and innovative chocolate business can be a success and provide financial and social change." says Fiona.

Catie Fry

Clovendoe Distilling Co. - Queensland

Clovendoe Distilling Co. is a Queensland-based all-female, low and non-alcoholic distilling company, founded by Catie to balance the playing field in a traditionally male-focused and led industry. All of Clovendoe’s botanicals are ethically sourced or procured locally, prepared by hand, and distilled in small batches in a traditional copper pot still. Clovendoe’s non-alcoholic, distilled botanical spirits are free from sugar, gluten, sweeteners, and additives.

Clovendoe's mission is to create an inclusive sober curious movement and encourage a cultural shift in how alcohol is viewed and consumed. The company aims to offer consumers a refined, healthy, and sophisticated alternative to alcohol and sugary, non-alcoholic beverages. Another significant motivation behind starting Clovendoe was to collaborate with other emerging female distillers to level the playing field in a male-dominated industry. Clovendoe Distilling Co. is now one of the few all-female-owned and founded distilling companies in the world.

Angie Poller

Remedii - Queensland

Angie’s journey with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) spans over two and a half decades. This relentless condition, characterized by severe and persistent pain, could have easily forced Angie into a life of despair. However, she chose a different path—one of courage, determination, and unshakable hope.

Angie’s mission was personal. She was determined to lead as normal a life as possible despite the constant pain CRPS inflicted upon her. She envisioned a solution that would not only alleviate her suffering but also enable her to manage her business and care for her beloved family.

Driven by this deeply personal need, Angie embarked on a mission to develop a pain relief solution that was natural, safe, and highly effective. She understood that her journey could not be a solitary one; there were countless others facing similar challenges. This realization became the cornerstone of Remedii’s philosophy.

Remedii range wearable pads are specifically designed to be effective yet comfortable. Their lightweight construction allows the pads to be worn at home or work, whenever and wherever you need relief from pain. When we're injured or in pain, we tend to move differently to compensate, which can cause further injury to other areas. If we cease to move, the recovery time can be longer. By wearing a hot/cold pad, movement can be more normal due to reduced pain, potentially speeding up recovery and preventing additional stress-related injuries.

Ira Puspita

Kayu & Co.- New South Wales

Ira founded Kayu & Co in 2021 with the hope that she can help remote artisans’ communities in preserving their cultural heritage and nature. Her goal is to uplift remote artisans’ communities who are handcrafting natural products as means to preserve their culture. However, they cannot sustain their livelihood by only selling locally in their villages. Thus, Ira’s mission is to let the world appreciate and purchase these beautiful artisanal products.

Sustainability and ethical production is central to Kayu & Co. From the circular economy design of fully compostable, long-lasting products to utilising waste of wood and coconut fibre that would otherwise end up in landfill or burnt, and preserving the local forests and environment.
